The Last Hours of Summer

Yesterday afternoon, we decided to get out as a family and enjoy Jonathan's last few hours of summer together by taking a spontaneous ride in the Jeep.

With no real destination in mind, we just started driving.

We love discovering new roads, taking in the fresh air and enjoying the quietness of the country.

We also love geocaching.
Geocaching sort of gives purpose to the pointless meandering around the countryside.

We only found one that day, but it was still fun nonetheless.

I love days like these.

That sounds lovely! I love spontaneous trips, I actually took one yesterday too. I think it's my favorite part of the summer. The weather just seems to be so agreeable on some days, and the trip just makes you feel so light and carefree. It's such a great feeling.

I have NO idea what geocaching is though, haha :)

I have only just heard of geocatching, but am so so excited to try it out as soon as I get back from my travels!
